How do you get a ponytail in Animal Crossing wild world?

I don't know about the ponytail part, but on wildworld you go on warm colours and you choose 'safe' to get the colour brown, so I think it's probably the same as city folk. When you go to the city go to shampoodles and ask for a new hairstyle, you choose:A-Cute, A-Not at all then you choose A-Going out.

To change a hairstyle, you must first obtain or visit a town with Nookington's. Enter the hair salon and tell Harriet that you want her to "do you hair". When you are sitting in the chair, she will ask you when you want your style to come alive. Choose "Big nights!". Next, she will ask you if you are the toast of every party. Choose "Well, duh!". She will finally ask you what song your ideal hairstyle would be. Choose "RAWK!". You now have the ponytail hairstyle. Now for the color: Harriet will then ask you what color your hair should be. Choose mysterious for dark brown, young for blue, lush for green, radiant for white, safe for light brown, lighthearted for blonde, fiery for orange/red, or flirty for pink.

You cant... as a girl yos start out you alway start out with pink hair. If you want to get your hair redone in the city at Shampoodle ( for 3000 bells), when it asks cool or warm colors go under warm then safe for light brown or cool and mysteious for ddark brown
