open ended wrench and some muscle.
the transmission is located on the driver's side of the engine and yes the engine has to be removed to change the transmission
Possibly, but you haven't said which engine or trans.
No. You can remove the engine and leave the transmission in the vehicle.
The transmission dipstick on a 1998 Blazer should be located at the rear of the engine. It should not be near the oil dipstick.
The transaxle/transmission is bolted to the driver side of the engine. The transaxle/transmission is bolted to the driver side of the engine.
depends on what gen 350 you're talking about. the 96 blazer should've had a 4l60e transmission which will bolt up to an lsx engine, but not an old school sbc
if the blazer is 4x4 and the s-10 has a 4.3 engine then the answer is yes
Will a Chevy Blazer engine fit in a Chevy s10 pickup
no
Will a 1997 blazer what work on a 1999 blazer????? If your talking engine, transmission, or running gear than yes. It is all the same.
4l60e i got a 92 chevy blazer with the w engine it came with a 700 R
No, it will not work. The 86 is a mechanically controlled transmission, vs. the electronically controlled transmission of the 96 (which also means the engine ECM will be programmed to function with that electronically controlled transmission).
