How to harvest in sims 2 castaway?

To catch a squid on SSims 2 castaway for wii you build a crafting bench then on the crafting bench you craft a fishing net and head for Crystal island. If you have not found Crystal island go to the third island in to the llama temple and in the area raised you will find a forge. Repair the forge and the ground will shake then say "an new island has a appeared off Pier beach. Go to Pier Beach and you Will see a island. Swimto it and put your fishing net in one of the lakes. Go have fun and from time to time come back and you will hopefully catch a squid. If that dose not work build a fire. Put up a home tiki and set the whole tribe to fishermen. Eventually they will bring home a squid. Hope I helped.

The first thing that you have to do its go up to like a tree or start walking in the water and then you will start to swim what you have to do is press harvest and if you are in the water you will harvest clams or if you are in at a tree they will climb up the tree and harvest leaves,fruit,etc. but, mostly you just have to press harvest ____. there you goo hope i helpedd(:

Go to start and then go to plan and make a craft bench then go to the bench and it will say craft. click craft and then it will ask you what kind of stuff you want to craft. click tools. then there is a long stick with a pointy end. or you can make a bamboo or wood rod. then go to the water and go near a fish. it will say fish. click fish and you can fish. if you want to use the rod you have to click circle and then your fishing rod is there, click it and then your sims has it and go near a fish, and it will say fish!LOL. this is for sims 2 castaway ps2.

To catch a fish in My Sims you will click the icon start fishing. Then you will use the nunchuck to steer the bobber (the red thing) to swimming white fish that you see. You will wait for the fish to take the bobber down and when it does you will pull the wii remote upwards. But do it quickley, you can lose a fish.
