You can either connect your computer to a neighbors wifi by using the SEARCH FOR NETWORKS button. It will be free, but beware, your neighbor can see if you are using it. Also, some libraries and cafe's, like Starbucks, offer free WiFI

There are a couple of ways to get internet access for free.

you can either..

1.) Freeload of off someone else's internet connection.

2.) install netzero. They have the option 10 free hours of Phone line internet a month.

I am very unhappy with Century Link as it is very expensive. My husband and I are p2 and 82 and can't afford it. I use the computer quite a bit, so need the internet.

I also have an unlimited cell phone on my son's phone, so it doesn't cost me anything. What do you suggest?

You can use a public library or Internet coffee shop.

It depends on where you live, but in many parts of the world some cafes offer free wi-fi access - although, of course, you would be expected to, at least, buy a cup of coffee.

go to a cellphone website like Verizon wireless.com and sign in. then go free phones

There is no such thing as free internet service, or free anything for that matter. Try searching wifi networks for non-password protected networks. That's as free as it gets.
