Park Avenue South is directly east of Penn Station. Penn Station is at 33rd to 34th Street, between 8th and 7th Avenues. Park Avenue South is 4 blocks east of 7th Avenue, not counting Broadway.
If you exit on 8th Avenue, then walk north (in the same direction as traffic) until 8th Avenue intersects with Broadway at 59th Street. Then follow Broadway uptown to Lincoln Center (at about 66th Street).
If you exit on 7th Avenue, then walk north (in the opposite direction of traffic) until 7th Avenue intersects with Broadway (between 44th and 45th Streets). Then follow Broadway uptown to Lincoln Center.
The address 100 Park Avenue is at or near the corner of 40th Street. Penn Station is at 34th Street between 8th and 7th Avenues. So I would just walk. It's only about 1/2 to 2/3 of a mile: north to 40th Street, then east to Park Avenue.
Avenue of the Americas is another name for 6th Avenue, and 6th Avenue is 1 block east of Penn Station. Penn Station is at 33rd to 34th Streets, between 8th and 7th Avenues.
Park Avenue is about half a mile east of Penn Station.
Take the Downtown A-C-E (the blue line) from 34th Street-Penn Station to Canal Street (at 6th Avenue, aka Avenue of the Americas). Then walk 1.5 to 2.5 blocks down 6th Avenue (depending on which subway exit you use) to 6th Avenue between Lispenard and Walker Streets.
W. 38th St. and 12th Avenue to Penn Station is about 1 mile.
East. Penn Station is between 8th and 7th Avenues. Park Avenue is 5 blocks east of 7th Avenue.
Penn Station is 13 blocks directly Downtown from 47th and 7th. Penn Station is between 7th and 8th Avenue, from West 33rd to West 34th Street. The west entrance/exit is at 8th Avenue, and the east entrance/exit is on 7th Avenue. So, you exit Penn Station and walk 13 blocks Uptown. If you exit onto 8th Avenue, then you will need to walk one block east and 13 blocks Uptown.
It's 5 blocks down from the east side of Penn Station. Penn Station is at 33rd to 34th Streets, between 8th and 7th Avenues.
Take the Uptown E train (of the A-C-E, the blue line) from 34th Street-Penn Station to 53rd Street-5th Avenue. Fifth Avenue is one block west of Madison Avenue.
Since the eastern entrance to Penn Station is located on 7th Avenue, the distance is zero. However, the answer is deceiving because Penn Station is massive. It spans between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue (the equivalent of 4 city streets), from east to west, and between 31st Street and 33rd Street from south to north. So, yes, it is true that the entrance to Penn Station is situated directly on 7th Ave. But, once inside, one might find himself walking several city blocks to get to the actual departure platform for his train or vice versa, from his train to 7th Ave.
What are you talking about? If you mean the 6th Avenue trains, they stop one long block away at 34 St and 6th Avenue. If you mean the #6 train, it stops about 7/8 of a mile away at 33 St. and Park Avenue South. Neither stops right in Penn Station. Only the 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue trains do that.
Take the Downtown 1 train (of the 1-2-3, the red line), 1 stop, from 34th Street-Penn Station to 28th Street (at 7th Avenue).
Yes. Take the Downtown 2 train (of the 1-2-3, the red line) from 34th Street-Penn Station to Flatbush Avenue-Brooklyn College.
You don't have to take the subway; it's 2 blocks. Penn Station is at 34th Street between 8th and 7th Avenues, and 520 8th Avenue is between 36th and 37th Streets.
