First of all its spelled emerald. Anyway to find Groudon the legendary Continent pokemon Groudon follow these steps.

1. Defeat the elite 4. This is CRUCIAL! If you dont you cant catch him

2.Go to the weather institute(Where you fought team aqua on your way Fortree city)

3.Go to the 2nd floor and talk to the scientist in the back.He will say "There is a massive drought on route (random route) or something like that.Go to that route and enter a cave that wasnt always there.

4.Enter it and you will find another door.enter and you will find groudon.

5.You'll maybe want kyogre too so do everything the same but the guy at the institute will say rainfall and go to the specified route.(you may have to dive) you'll find a cave like you did with groudon.but it will hold kyogre instead.
