I don't know specificly know how to get items in your hands but i do know how to get a cup in your hands. Go to 24 carrot island and go to the carrot king diner and fill the glass all white. As you are drinking it press Ctrl Shift S. You will see spinning arrows. Press tab and log out. When you log back in you will be holding a cup with something black in it.

Your person will change. Press them more times,for your person to randomize and get something in his hand. It can be a cellphone,a Basketball,a football,a bag....etc.

∙ 12y agoSome "sports" items come with costumes, and you can also generate some if you Randomize (Ctrl-Shift-R) your character, although this is not recommended except for brand-new characters. Holding down Control and Shift, and pressing the R key will change your character's appearance drastically, and you can toggle through various looks.
Some items that you acquire on the islands are handheld: on Red Dragon Island all of the ninja weapons are. Very few are copyable from other Poptropicans using the Costumizer.
