use make-up wipes that specifically say on the back that they remove waterproof mascara. Also so you don't rip all of your eyelashes out (seriously) firstly place the whole wipe on your eyelashes and leave it there to soak for at least 2 minutes. This softens the mascara making it easier to wipe off. and don't forget to go up aswell as down your lashes so you don't have panda eyes in the morning!
Baby Oil works wonders when you don't have make-up remover. Also Vaseline works very well too. Olive oil is also another good contender that you may have around the house. I tend to use baby oil or vaseline. Take your time removing it so you don't pull out your lashes. after you are all done, wash your face with your regular facial wash or your face could end up oily.
I use only waterproof mascara and these have worked wonders when I run out of make-up remover. :)
When trying to remove waterproof mascara, don't attempt to scrub it off while you wash your face. While your facial cleanser may help to remove some of the product, they are not normally meant to be used on the delicate eye area. Instead, use a q-tip or cotton pad soaked in make-up remover (like Caudelie's Cleansing Water- a little pricy but the ONLY make-up remover I have tried that doesn't sting) to gently wipe off the product.
Ok, im going to share with you the best and yet so simple make up remover.....vaseline!! it works so well and takes off any kind of make up. it doesnt sting at all if it gets in your eyes and is cheap too.
It is good to use something with a small amount of oil to cut through the make-up. Many women use a touch of olive oil on a cotton ball. Gentle lotions will also work. They massage it in to loosen the makeup, then they will wash it off with a facial cleaner or a glycerin based soap.
If you have baby wipes on hand, they are an okay temporary solution, but they do not do an adequate job to use on a regular basis.
Use baby oil just don't get it in your eyes it will sting really bad. Apply the oil to a curio. Then close your eye and jently rub it on your face
Well... Makeup remover... But what I do, is I wash my face and that gets off all the makeup (which is a LOT of makeup) besides mascara. I use normal body lotion and a Q-tip or toilet paper to remove mascara, and it works perfectly.
when i have trouble getting off my mascara, i put vaseline on my eyelashes with a Q-tip and then take it off with a damp warm cloth. I know it sounds kinda grouse but it works for me :) use make-up wipes that specifically say on the back that they remove waterproof mascara. denatured alcohol
baby oil. just be careful not to get it on anything other than the area you want to remove the make up from
Apply mascara first, immediately close your eyes and wait for...oh, 30 seconds should do it. Then apply a little makeup remover to a cotton swab and remove any mascara from your eyelids, then do the rest of your eyes.
First you have to get some make up wipes or just some baby wipes. Then rub along the top of your eye and do the same on the bottom. Then remove any smudged mascara off the face in the same teqhnique just rub along where the mascara has smudged. Hope I could help!
Water proof mascara is made more for if you swim, because the mascara is water proof when it comes in contact with the water it won't come off. However this does make it harder to remove. Normal mascaras however will run in contact with water.
A Sharpie and nail polish remover have the same chemicals in them. Nail polish remover has the chemicals to remove that so it adapts also to Sharpies.
If you have Mighty Bond on your skin you may be able to remove it with nail polish remover. Be sure that the remover has Acetone in it.
