- Lust is not love and people should not confuse the two. Physical attractiveness certainly does come into play when two people first meet, but as they get to know each other more and more it generally turns to love. If you are not married nothing is written in stone that you have to stay with the person you are with and can break up and lust after anyone you please, but beware, because you could well miss out on true love because you are obsessed with lust.
