In order to get Fantina the Gym Leader back to her Gym in Hearthome City in Pokémon Pearl, you first need to beat the first 4 Gym Leaders who are Roark in Oreburgh City, Gardenia in Eterna City, Maylene in Veilstone City and Crasher Wake in Pastoria City. After beating those 4 Gym Leaders you can return to Hearthome City. Talk to Fantina outside of the Contest Hall and she'll return to the Gym however if you've already spoken to her earlier on outside of the Contest Hall then she'll already be in the Gym.

∙ 14y agogo into souvenir shop talk to both men. then go to lake north of city. catch or kill red gyarados after that get back to land talk to man with dragonite. go back to souvenir shop do the hideout thing then u should be able to do boss. (need hm surf to go on lake to catch red gyarados)

∙ 12y agoyou have to go to veilstone and beat the gym leader there then go to pastoria and beat the gym leader there them go back to hearthome and you will be able to battle her.

∙ 13y agoGo to Cinnibar Island and show him all 7 Kanto badges, then he will go back to the Viridian Gym where you can battle. I think you need Rock Climb by the way.
