The term 'percentage points' is used when two teams are tied in the standings but have not played the same amount of games.
Team A has won 90 games and lost 60 games
Team B has won 89 games and lost 59 games
The way to determine how many games one team is behind another team is to subtract the two teams wins, subtract the two teams losses, add those two numbers together and divide by 2. Using Team A and Team B as an example, we would use the equasion:
((90 - 89) + (59 - 60)) / 2 which works out to be (1 + -1) / 2 which works out to be 0 / 2 which equals 0. Team A and Team B are tied in the standings. But Team A's winning percentage is .600 and Team B's winning percentage is .601. Even though Team A and Team B are tied in the standings, Team B has a higher winning percentage than Team A.
In a situation like this, you might hear an announcer or sportscaster say "Team B is percentage points ahead of Team A" or "Team A and Team B are tied but Team B leads by percentage points".
That is the record of the team in interleague games.

In any NFL team standing, the Net Points (Net Pts) are the Points For (PF) minus the Points Against (PA). PF - PA = Net Pts
PF means Points For: how many points a team has scored. PA means Points Against: how many points a team has allowed by the other team.

'pct' stands for percentage. A quarterback has a stat called 'completion pct' or completion percentage. A team stat is 'winning pct' or winning percentage which is the percentage of games the team wins. Wherever you see 'pct' in stats, it stands for percentage.
If one wants to find the standings of their favorite NFL team, one can check the NFL official website. It contains full team standings and statistics, as well as individual players.
Narain Karthikeyan drove for the Jordan Grand Prix team in the year 2005. He was joined by Portugal's Tiego Monterio that year. Tiago finished 16th overall in the drivers standings with 7 points with the 3rd position in the US grand prix as his best finish. Narain finished 18th in the overall standings with 5 points with the 4th position in the US grand prix as his best finish.
The NHL doesnt list PP on their official standings, but some standings might list PP as the Power Play %. This basically means what is the percentage of power plays that a team scores a goal on. If you have 10 power plays and only score on 2 of them, then your PP% is 20% (sometimes this number is displayed as a decimal number instead of a whole number, but it means the same thing).

NBA regular season team standings can be found on many sports news websites such as those for the NBA, ESPN, or Yahoo Sports. Additionally, standings can also be accessed through the NBA's official app.
Team points - 1 on the scoresheet, 0 on the standings (unless that goal is a winner or gets you into OT) player points - 1-3. Whoever scores the goal gets a point in his stats for a goal, and the last 2 players from your team to touch the puck get points for the assist. (If the other team has the puck under their control, and you take away the puck, you can get an unassisted goal and get the only point, or you can get the only assist if you pass it after a takeaway and get the goal.
