Greetings, A couple of ideas I have read are: Using bay leaves in the windows. Take a handful of bay leaves and lay them in oyur window sills. Mulberry candles. Making a solution of water, 2-3 drops of dishdetergent and a tbl of sugar. Mix and leave in a plastic or opague container in your windo sills or wherever your most bothered by ladybugs. They go in and drink and drown. I also read that one can use lemon scented oils. Good Luck

There are many ways to attract ladybugs. Try to keep flowers like pot marigolds, chives, Cosmos, dandelion, dill, Feverfew, marigold, sea lavender, Musturd, and Sweet alyssum. All these are attractive for ladybugs. If you want ladybugs to rid aphids, you can get them from a store to make this a whole lot easier.
Well in my opinion i think you should just leave them alone. If they come in you house in the winter they are just trying to hibernate. But if you really really want to get rid of them i have heard that if you light lemon sented candles in you house they will leave and not come back.!
First-off, are you sure that they are ladybugs and not Asian Lady Beetles? They look similar to Lady Bugs but are typically more organish versus red and may or may not have spots. Asian Lady Beetles hibernate, which is why you will see them in large swarms in the fall.
