You can't. Shadow was created in 2001, almost a decade after Sonic two was released. The only possible way is to hack the game and replace the Sprite for Sonic with that of Shadow from Sonic battle, but this is probably difficult. It will still look out of place, as Shadow is a next generation character.

Theres nothing really good online, but there are games for wii and stuff with shadow and the whole gang, even silver! some examples are sonic riders, sonic riders zero gravity, (those are fun ones) and sonic adventures 1 and 2. theres also those olympic games with sonic and shadow in them. sonic rivals is also pretty sweet.
