How do you get a gift from your cat in Nintendogs plus Cats?

Leave your cat alone for 30 to 45 minutes. Do NOT interact at all. When the time is up, click on your cat's icon. It will seem as if they have absolutely disappeared, but then your cat will come running through your balcony or doors(depends on which house you have) and have a present in its mouth. It has blue ribbon unlike the ones you may find on your walks, which have red ribbon. This is from the wikia of nintendogs itself; it even has a photo on the page.

Buy it in a shop called barc and u might unlock new lures if u earn more owner points but there are really fast lures I mean faster than the normal lures like for example:

.Banana lure(Fast)

.Green or white bird lure(Fast)

.Rainbow lure(Fast) (exchange at Mr. Recycle)

.Other

And these are the normal lures:

.Red, blue and more(Stripey) (Not as fast as novice lures see above)

Those are the normal lures but u can maybe find more on walks or unlock lures at some certain shops

Leave your 3ds open for 30 to 45 minutes. After that tap on your cat's icon and then the cat will come racing through the doors or whatever (depends on your house) and have a blue present in its mouth, unlike the ones you can find on walks.

Second, Go to Mr. R shop and get the Voucher, But you would need to trade him the required item.

Third, Go to the Kennel and scroll until you see the Robo Pup dog.

Well when you start the game you get money to buy your frist dog with out doing anything, and when you get 11,000 owner points you unlock the robo pup voucher that lets you get a robo pup for free at the kennel
