i buy about 60 - 80 sugar canes a week.. best thing to do is get a bucket of water fill only a quarter full..... and put the canes in thier.... flip the ends every day or so...

The sap or juice in a sugar cane stalk is about 20% sugar. You squeeze the sugar cane juice out using a machine then boil off the water and get sugar.The water you collected is drinkable.

Hard crystals are a mineral usually found in raw sugar canes that is usually cause when rotting pieces of sugar clump together.
