Your only bet is to use a cheating device. They were given out in special Nintendo events but now that they're outdated there aren't any more. There is NO other way to get it in the game. No special things you have to do, no talking to anyone, nothing. Only a cheating device or a Nintendo event. Anyone who tells you differently is lying.

∙ 12y agofirst go to a Pokemon event an they will give you the old sea chart and went you get it go to the ship and she will tell you if you want to go to MEW and went she takes you to MEW and MEW will be at level 30 and use Master ball to catch MEW.

- Get an Action Replay(MAX or Normal) and enter the code. Other web sites have it... you can only get an Action Replay on Ebay I think!
- !!WARNING!!: This may ruin your game- getting Action Replay-- and you would have to make another save file to restart. (It ruined my Fire Red!)

∙ 12y agogo to mossdeep then go down then left up little and you will find this house it will say on sign treasure BUTThunter's house you have to trade him something. now don't ask me what you what you need to trade ibutt have't done this yet. but he told me would give me the old sea map and i think thatbutt's how you the old sea chart I'm not sure of this so don't complain if it doesn't work.

∙ 14y agoYou can't find the Old Sea Chart for Mew in regular gameplay. Nintendo didn't give out the Map, they just gave out the Mew. You could've gotten the Mew at the Event, but if you didn't, the only other way to get Mew is to cheat via GameShark, Action Replay, CodeBreaker, ect.

∙ 10y agothe only way to get the old sea chart is through a special event outside the game. If you manage to obtain the old sea chart you are able to catch mew.

You have to have two Game Boy Advances to trade with emerald and ruby and a GBA to GBA link cable, another way to trade is if you use a GCN (gamecube) to GBA cable and you use Pokemon colosseum or Pokemon xd gale of darkness to trade emerald or ruby Pokemon to there then use colosseum or xd gale of darkness to trade your emerald or ruby Pokemon to the other game either ruby or emerald. Theres no way you can use a DS to trade with GBA games because the DS is not compatible with the GBA link cable.
