I've not tried it but I think you will get a bag of bells in your inventory, yes? Well, if you do, simply use your stylus to drag the bag of bells onto that bit that says how much money is in your inventory. The bag should disappear, and more money will be in your inventory. To put it in the bank, just go to the town hall and deposit it in your account. I hope this is right!

Once you have a golden shovel, put a minimum of 1000 bells to a maximum of 89000 bells into one bag. Bury that bag into the dirt, and a sprout should pop up. If you put in 1000 bells, there's a 1% chance of a money tree sprouting. 2k bells = 2%, 10k bells = 10%, etc. . While the chance of a money tree sprouting is very slim, a money tree, once matured, will grow three bags of bells with 30,000 bells in each bag, making 90,000 bells overall.
