How do you get the cannon to world 4 in new Super Mario Bros?

New super Mario bros world 5 cannon.

In the World 5 ghosthouse.

On the staircase there will be a boxer.

There will be a flights of stairs on the right,you will see 3 blocks on the left. Jump on them, then jump up again on each block to reveal another 3 blocks. Then jump on the middle one that you revealed and jump up again. There will be a beanstalk that willl take you up to a door where a boxer will be. It will need to punch some blocks so you can get to the door. But when it falls be aware that it doesn't hit you. Through the door will be a red flag. You should now be able to use the warp cannon on world 5.

This cannon will take you to World 8.

In Ghost house after mid castle. You find hidden door (you run through wall,no cheat!). Next jump platform to platform. Becareful of the Boos the kill you! Next when you've go through that you've got to jump through circle of boos to get to end then u unlock world 8 cannon!!!

Note: The walkthrough below only shows what you need to do to get to the secret exit. All other objects like star coins or mushrooms are neglected.

Go to the ghost house in world 5.

Once you go in, climb up the series of stairs until you see 3 bricks on the left. Go on the bricks and jump up to find a hidden block. Go on top of the hidden block and jump to find another hidden block with a vine. Climb up the vine until you see a door. Enter it.

Once in the room, you're on a platform that moves crazily. Try to stay on the platform until you reach the top of the room. When you exit the door on the left, you find a secret flagpole. The secret exit leads to the cannon.

The cannon should blast Mario to World 8. Hope that helped!

Idea: Getting to the cannon in world 1.

Go to world one. Go to the 3rd round in world 1. Watch Out! when you start the level go over the green tube and look out for the hammer throwing turtle. When he is on top of the bricks, run under the bricks. Jump up and hit the brick he is on when you are under the bricks. Go over the two green tubes making a bridge for you. Go up onto the hill and hit the ? box. Out pops a Yoshi egg! A Yoshi hacthes from the egg. Get on the Yoshi. jump up in the air, hold down 2 and he will run on the air few seconds. Push 1 and his Thung will pop out. Eat the berries on the trees. eat up to 5 and he lays an egg with something inside. You can also eat Foes. OK back to the point, Run and jump on Yoshi, Pass the gold coin, But be careful! If you get hit by a foe, Your Yoshi runs off! Catch him before he dies! He is your only hope to getting to the cannon! Keep going until you get to a hammer throwing turtle. do the same thing for him. Only do it we hes on the 2nd or 3rd brick row. Go to the check point after you beat the hammer throwing turtle. Eat the flowers after getting passed the checkpoint. Keep going until you get to the fire breathing flower. eat that flower and get to the hill. jump up onto the edge of the wall. Jump up again and you will not be able to see yourself. keep running and you will hear yourself go down a tube. end the round by jump on the red flag! Hope I helped -Hhopkins1108

go to the haunted house in world 5. walk until you fall down then go then jump the space. up the stairs and jump over the space . keep going til you fall down then go to the left (through the wall) then enter the door. hit the yellow question mark button and jump on the lighted block. keep hitting the yellow buttons to keep the block lighted. go through the blocks until you get to a door, enter and you will be outside. jump in the space of the ghost circle and then jump out when on the top step. jump on the flag pole and you win. when come out the path to the cannon will show up.
