How do you get the crossbow in assassins creed 2?

I'm told in Assasins Creed (the original) you can unlock a crossbow after collecting all the flags and killing all the Templars. I have not done this myself, so I'm not sure if this is entirely true.

In Assassins Creed 2 you can access your hidden gun by pressing and holding "R bumber" then selecting it from the top right of your weapons wheel.

you get the fariy bow at the forest temple you have to get key and open a door in the main room to enter a block room push the blocks on as directed by arows on the floor climb up the block go up a star case and pull a block out as far as you can then go to the floor un der you and there is a ladder climb up push the block all the way make sure you have 2 keys at this point go to the floor where you pushed the block and pushit in the hole go left and run away from the fire skulls unlock the door an continue thrue the hall to the showdow moser room jump from block to block get to the other door and fight the secliton guys which is very diffacult butafter you defeat them you get a bow

there is no way to get the bow in the game. but if you get all of the achievements and flags, then you get the cross bow.
