How do you get the dome lights to go off on a 1992 Lincoln town car?

Check the door switches to make sure they are functioning correctly. (you will find them near the door hinges) If the door switches are not working correctly, they will keep the dome lights from going off. Note: The switches are N/C (if you understand the technical term "Normally closed") which means that if you press the switch it will open the connection, causing the dome light to turn off. IF you release the switch, this causes the connection to close thus turning the dome light on. Send email at: Thedoughman2006@aol.com
