Where do you find Rotom in Pokemon diamond?

Get the national Pokedex then go to the old Chateu in Eterrna city at (between 8:oopm to 4:oopm, go to a room with a TV and talk in front of it.

to catch rotom u need the national dex and have to of beaten the elite four then u can go catch rotom u need to go were u seen the eterna gym leader and cut the trees then u go in the old chateu and go to the main room with the t.v go there between 8pm and 4am cuz u can only catch between that time and bring some Pokemon at least lvl 20 cuz rotom is lvl 15 and buy lots of dusk balls have fun with your lvl 15 rotom

Steps on how to find Rotom:
1. Go to Eterna City. (It should be between 8:00 PM. to 4:00 AM)
2. Go to the Eterna Forest.
3. Go to the Old Chateau. (The Haunted House)
4. Go to the TV. and press the button A.
And you find Rotom. Rotom is just level 15. Its easy to catch.

1.Go to the old Chateu after you beat the grass gym and click on T.V.

However, this is the more detailed way.

STEP 1. Go to the Old Chateu after you beat Gardenia. emphasis on BEAT, because you need HM 01 Cut. You may have seen the place. It is just before the exit of the forest.

STEP 2. Make sure the time is 8:00 p.m. or later, because that is when Rotom is active.

STEP 3. When you enter, go up the stairs, go up and enter the door to the north. Once you do, enter all the doors until you find the one with the T.V.

STEP 4. Save your game, in case you accidentally kill Rotom. Then, interact with the T.V. It should show some text, and then ask if you want to thump it. Click yes. (duh)

STEP 5. I recommend having a lot of Dusk or Nest balls for the capture. Fight Rotom, capture it and nickname if you want.

P.S. The Legendary theme will come up when you fight Rotom. Rotom is NOT a Legendary Pokémon. Got that? Rotom is just rare.

You can't get the rotom key in diamond. You can only get it in platinum.

What I'm thinking of is that you get the national dex and thump the tv. I'm not sure, but I'm just guessing. My other guess is getting it out of a Pokemon live event that passed.
