The 2002 GMC Sierra Series Pickup has the most common hook arms. There should be a little tab on the wiper blade attachment which is mounted is inside the arm hook. Press the tab and pull the wiper blade assembly out of the arm hook. Rotate the blade if you need additional space for the hook arm to clear the wiper blade attachement.
