How do you get the wireless adaptor to get the mystery gift on leafgreen?

Usually the mystery gifts are wifi events.
But remember the HeartGold and SoulSilver preorder deals? If you preordered it you go to GameStop or the place you preordered it at and you got a Mystery Gift (Jirachi or the Pichu). Events like that are received wirelessly. Some mystery gifts can be received by a friend though.

∙ 10y agoWhen you first see Lugia when you turn the game on click the screen and it will show options like: your current game, connect to pokewalker, etc. If you scroll down it will say something like 'Mystery Gift' and you click that option. Then you choose how you want to obtain it and WAZAM, you got it.
*NOTE* In order to get a mystery gift there has to be an event going on. Check pokemon.com or serebii to see when a mystery gift event is going on.
If I remember correctly, if you live in USA then from April 1 2010 to April 30 2010 there will be a mystery gift event going on.

Improved by Belovin: wrong, go to the main screen and scroll down. it say "mystery gift". then go from there. once uv received your mystery gift go to a Pokemon center and talk to the messenger guy.
