How do you get to a dead mouse in the heater in a Ford Explorer?

This is going to require that you pull the dash to get to the heater ducts. See the related article on fixing the Blend Door for details on pulling the dash. This can be done in 2-3 hours. Once the dash is off the heater ducts will be exposed.

Does it not have a key lock by the front door handle ( that's what I did on my 1995 Ford Explorer XLT when the battery was dead )
