after u bleach your hair, use an "ash blond" dye like "lightest ash blond".
the ash is the main important ingredient that gets rid of all the
oranginess and redness of the bleach! or you can use a product called shimmer lights by clairol and it gradually takes out the orangy-ness

∙ 13y agoYou have to dye it blonde and then 2 weeks later or whatever time is safe, do it again. The first time, your hair should turn out a light brown. The second time depending on how black your hair is, it should turn out a dirty blonde. Keep dying until you get the blonde that you want.
I had black hair for about 3 years .. dyed it every 6 weeks then i decided to go blonde. I bleached it and it came out the perfect white blonde colour but after a while it started to de-colourize to a gingery colour. I bleached it again about 2 days later and started to use lightners to prevent the ginger coming back. Although bleaching is a quick way to get the colour you want i honestly dont recommend it .. my hair went straw like so i dyed it back black and conditionerd it constantly.
The other way to get blonde hair is too highlight it from browns to blonde .. have thin highlights then eventually getting bigger and thicker ones. Although this way takes alot of time its alot better for your hair. <--- Technique is called stripping.
Make sure you want to be blonde before you bleach your hair .. i regret going blonde for a while , it wrecked my hair but i still bleach my bangs every now and again.
If you have long hair the more likely you are to have your hair break off very easily. Also discolouration happens alot more in longer hair. If you've got shorter hair .. e.g layers or just a natural short cut hair style then the damage is still there but there is less of a chance of massive breakage.

∙ 12y agoWell when its summer dirty blonde hair usually turns blonder from the sun but that wont make it blonde you may want. Really you should dye it to get it blonde not bleach it get blonde highlights.
