How do you make someone like dogs?

well your dog will like you if u train himher a good way,treat himher a good way, all ways give them food,dont skuease them hard , don't kiss them or else u will get hair in your lungs,dont pamper him or her treat them like a normal dog but don't treat them bad,take them for walks give them fresh food, and have fun do that and your dog will love you in no time and if you have a puppy don't train them right away I'm a vet i know what I'm talking about and trainer i have 2 dogs and they had 11 puppies =D cute huh

Give it a certain amount of space of it's own, or a room that it should stay in most of the time. For example, a kitchen. A way to get you puppy to lick you is put a small amount of butter on your knuckles for it to lick. You should have a bed in every room that the puppy will be allowed in. You should also spend a lot of time playing with your puppy. If you live with more than one person, you should switch off crating the dog, so it does not think of one person as the bad guy. Well First of all you would want to spend some time with it. Get to know what it likes to do. Some dogs love walks, others hate them. Some have a certain spot they loved to be scratched. Pay attention to the puppy. Get to know it. Play with it, speak kindly to it but don't lower your voice! Dogs don't only respond to body language. The lower the voice, the more it sounds like a growl. Don't make it to high pitched though either. You may annoy it or sound like a squeaky toy and they would end poorly. Petting is a good idea to, But ONLY if your your dog! Their are exceptions like if it's your family members new puppy. You should still ask permission first though! Turn your whole body towards it so that it can see your posture. If your relaxed, talking, even smiling they will respond better than if you're tense, straight faced and not talking.

Fun Fact: A frightened dog will put its tail between his legs because it cuts off the sent glands in its anal region. Since the anal glands carry personal scents that identify the individual dogs, the tail between the legs action is just like a human hiding their face.
