The 2000 General Motors/Cadillac Deville came equipped in the 4.6L Northstar engine. Removing the main belt will require depressing the tensioner to free it. The new belt can then be routed across the accessory drive pulleys. The OE AC Delco belts for this application are 6K815 and 3K243.
What is the P39 code for a 1994 Cadillac with a northstar motor
It will give you the code when the battery has been disconnected.
you dont. a cadillac tech does
According to the Owner's Manual, the 2001 Cadillac Deville holds 7.5 quarts (or 7.1 L) with a filter change.
A 97 Deville would be equipped with the Northstar V8 engine, therefore, it has 8 spark plugs.
The era gap is huge when considering a 1990 Deville to a 1997, no way is it possible unless you have tons of time to make extreme modifications and LOTS of money.
no it does't
I need a diagram of te loaction of te temperature control sensor in a 99 deville with a northstar
If it is the Northstar engine which I believe it is, it is inside the motor under the intake manifold.
waterpump or radiator hose
there is one before and one after the catalytic converter.
I'm not sure, but I think they needed to be dropped out the bottom.
Next to the winshill wiper fluid
the temp ranges from 200 to 206 degrees F.
The Northstar engine is factory spec'ed for Dex-Cool or equivalent. Do not use standard "green" antifreeze.
Well, if it is a Deville with the Northstar 4.6L engine, the manual calls for 7.5 quarts with filter.
They are located to the right and slightly above the oil filter looking at the front of the engeine
Depending what make it is; Deville has a 4.9 (V8). Deville Concours 4.6 (V8)Northstar engine. Eldorado has the 4.6 (V8) Northstar engine. Fleetwood 5.7 (V8) Seville 4.6 (V8) Northstar engine.
Speed is computer controlled and there is no governor that you can remove.
A Cadillac Deville can be purchased at a Cadillac dealer.
Inside the intake manifold. all northstar v8s have starters on the inside of the block. hope that helps
Check out this link. It has all the info you need http://www.freeengineinfo.com/cadillac-northstar-starter-replacement.htm
If it's the base Sedan Deville with the 4.9 liter, it's 5 quarts with the filter. For the Deville Concours with the Northstar, it's 7.5 quarts with the filter.
No it does not. The only engine in the 1988 Cadillac De Ville was the 4.5 Digital fuel injected engine. The 4.5 engine is a 2 valve per cylinder overhead valve (not overhead cam) engine. It was a good engine but not in the power category as the Northstar.
