Please keep out it! She shouldn't be whining to you, but sitting down like an adult and talking to her husband. If he isn't listening then she has the freedom to give him choices by telling him they either need marriage counseling, better communication skills or she's walking out the door and not looking back. All marriages can go through some bumpy patches. Trust me, if you get mixed up in this relationship you'll only end up the bad guy. If you want to be there for your friend tell her the choices I mentioned, and if she isn't willing to act on any of these ideas, then you're just going to have stay out of it, listen to her for support, and offer no more advice. Good luck Marcy
The word ignore does not belong in the same sentence with the word abuse. I have never heard of a honeymoon phase, what exactly is this. The honeymoon in a healthy relationship can last as long as the two people want, its what they put into it. Get therapy or counseling on why you would accept this and dont delay. You are not supposed to ignore an abusive relationship that is how they abuser gains power over time......
You may be hooked on your own image or fantasy of what the relationship should be, and on the first stages of it, or the honeymoon period of a relationship. Abusers can be especially charming in the beginning, to hook you emotionally. You need to assess the relationship for what it's become, not what you wish it could be or was in the beginning.
if he want to commit sadist acts with you such as murder, bondage, or bestiality, then he is prolly still abusive.
If you always fight, then it is an abusive relationship. If you do not want to be around your boyfriend/girlfriend, then it is an abusive relationship. If you can not talk or be around your family and friends then you are in an abusive relationship.
If your wife is mentally abusive, you need to let her know that her words are hurting you. If that does not seem to do any good, you all may need to seek counseling.
It is important to exit an abusive relationship carefully. Slavery is abusive.
Woman always try to give excuses in order to stay in an abusive relationship. If your in an abusive relationship then get out of one. It does not matter if you love them if they are hitting you they don't love you. There is no reason for a woman to stay in a abusive relationship. If they are abusive then they are blinded.
Review the warning signs and decide for yourself. A mentally abusive relationship caused two 'feelings' in me. I reacted with confusion to a pattern of speech that my abuser would use. The purpose of the mental abuse is to instill self doubt in you and then you are easier to control. The second re-action I had was a type of emotional numbness. This came after a period of crazy making verbal abuse. If you feel confused around your abuser and then notice a numbness that is a good clue that your are bing mentally manipulated.
Abusive relationship is not good. It affects nearly all aspects of life.
No the abuser does not love that person they love controlling and abusing that person and that's it. It is difficult for there to be love in an abusive relationship. The abuser can not truly give love or receive it because he or she is mentally disabled. The abusive personality is a mental disorder and the abuser needs to seek psychiatric help. An abusive relationship is not a healthy one and no matter what the abuser says, he or she can not love you, it is obsession and control that drives an abusive partner.
She decided to end the abusive relationship and place charges against him. Some sport fans can be very abusive and immature. There is no reason to be so abusive.
You Should Not Stay In That Relationship.
Women should get out of an abusive relationship because it may escalate from emotional abuse to physical or sexual abuse, sometimes even murder. No one deserves to be abused and to stay in an abusive relationship is not worth it. If you are being abused, please leave and find help, especially if you have children, you need to protect them too.

Yes, by most accounts, her relationship with her husband Bobby Brown was abusive, and that is one reason why they got divorced.
His father was abusive, both mentally and psychically.
Why would you even think about going back to an abusive relationship? Unless you want to get beat on for the rest of your life.
Not if he is abusive...physically, mentally, or emotionally. Those boys will eventually get the same treatment from him as you do, he can be the father...but that doesn't mean you can't raise them without him. Get out of that relationship before you or your unborn children are hurt. And if you can't see yourself without him...at least try. It never hurts to try, especially if he is already hurting you.
