Masculines (adults) have the last segment of the pedipalps bigger (compared to adult feminines of the same species, or subspecies) and flat, transformed in copulatory structures, while feminine ones doesn't. Feminine are, usually, bigger than masculines (within the adults of th same species, or subspecies).
In some species, feminines have genitals openings covered by flat appendages called epigyna.
MORE INFO... Ok... I recently discovered a few Spiders outside my apartment. They hop like a grasshoper, but look very much like a spider. At first, I thought they only had six legs, but after killing it with bug spray (cant help it they creep me out) I find 4 pairs of legs. One of the pair is very small and actually looks useless. It was hard to kill because it kept hopping away... hence the bug spray. There were about three total in one concentrated area. Now I am dying to know what is in my backyard. The body looks almost like a snail. Dark with yellowish stripes or spots. I tried to take a picture after its death, but cannot get a really clear image. I can tell you it is about 3/4 the size of a bottle cap...so rather creepy!!! Oh yeah- I'm in the Atlanta area.
if it has a little lump on its back and has eight legs then it is a spider
well it is big and hairy so you should be abled to identify it the first time you see it. PS i don't think that they are dangerous but if you see one RUN RUN i tell you RUN

This is not enough to identify it. There are thousands of possibilities.
You Check the color of the spider, it is gonna be the same color of a adult spider. Or bring a book about Black Widows with you!
It is hard to identify a spider without knowing how big it is, where it was found, its overall body shape and other characteristics. This could be a common house spider, a wolf spider, or a garden orb weaver.
We do not know which spider you are talking about because we have no info on your spider. We are very sorry.
Many spiders fluoresce under ultraviolet light, but it appears blue. I think you're looking for an iridescent green spider. Many spiders are also iridescent, and it's difficult to identify a spider without seeing it first hand. Many experts can't even identify a spider without observing it under a microscope.
It takes a bit more information to properly identify a spider than what is provided. Note that the black widow is notfuzzy (covered with hairs).
no milk will not help dilute the toxins from a spider or snake bit
You have to identify it.
You haven't given enough information to definitively identify it.
