∙ 15y agoThere are 4 things you can do to increase speed.
1. Choose a proper port (within 49152-65534 range) to avoid ISP blocks and possible conflicts.
2. Allow incoming communications by forwarding the bittorrent client through any firewall or router.
3. Cap upload in the bittorrent client to 80% of your overall upload capacity to allow room for outgoing communications.
4. Choose good torrents. Generally, choosing torrents with a high seed to peer ratio will give better speeds.
