What can you do to make oxycodone work better?

I have heard with Norcos which are similar to vicodin, just less Tylenol, you can drink hot coffee or another hot drink I believe it dissolves them faster or drinking something carbonated will do the same. Also if you break them in half or crush them down and swallow the powder will make them work faster. I don't think anything really intensifies the potency, just makes em kick in faster and you feel it more at first, but like most pain killers it goes away pretty quickly. I would just say break them in half or chew them up and wash em down with an energy drink or coffee.

If you take high dosages ( 20MG or more) it's likely that you have a slow release pill. If you cut the pill, (with a pill cutter) more of the drug releases into your system faster. If won't necessarily make it work better, but it will make it work faster. I learned this because I take 40MG tablets and I told my doctor that I was trying to wean down my dosage so I was planning on cutting my pills. He said that was a bad idea because more of the drug would come to bear faster. I've since tried it many times and it does work. I would love to know a way to make it work better. I'm a paraplegic and after you take a dose for a while it has less and less of an affect. And the Doctors get you addicted to the stuff and then play with your life by making it difficult to get. It's a terrible cycle.

You'll have to talk to your doctor about that. If you're medication is ineffective, it's definitely something you need to get fixed. However, this isn't something you want to experiment with. Vicodin is a dangerous drug, and you should let a professional find the solution.
