To properly install a new tachometer in a 1994 Integra LS the unit must be correctly mounted. Part of the mounting process is correctly splicing the wiring into the old harness so the RPM can properly read the information.

The wheelbase of an Integra LS is typically just over 101 inches. However, this may vary depending on what year you are thinking of.

The easiest way I come up with is a little strange but there are very few differences between them. If it has a tachometer and a radio antenna then it a LS. If it has a tachometer and no antenna then its a GS. If it doesn't have a tachometer then it is a RS.

No. 90-93 is an entirely different series of chassis than 94-01. However, any 94-01 model's tranny is interchangeable as far as I know - although there *might* be a difference between GS/LS (non-vtec) and GSR/Type R transmissions, even though the engine block is relatively the same from model to model. There are some other transmissions that will mate up to the engine, but anything outside the model year/s will require extensive modification to install and be a significant downgrade to OE equipment in most cases.
