It's not the easiest thing to do. After removing the door panel which is a quite a task itself, the old window motor and regulator are riveted to the door frame by four or five rivets. They have to be drilled out, then the regulator and motor can be moved out of the door. There are then four more rivets that hold the motor to the regulator which also have to be drilled out. Once you get the window motor off the regulator you can attach the new motor to the regulator with 1/4 inch bolts and nuts. Then the regulator gets reinstalled and fastened to the door frame also with 1/4 inch bolts and nuts. You can then reassemble the interior door panel and enjoy your working electric window. This whole process took me about 6 hours, including running to the hardware store for the nuts and bolts.
