iWork can either be bought on CD-ROM or downloaded online. If choosing the CD version, enter the CD into the CD drive and follow the instructions given. If downloading from the app store it will download and place in the applications folder automatically. There may also be an option to download it from something other then the app store. In which case you would go to the download folder located in in the top right of your safari tool bar (right next to the search option). From there click on the application just downloaded. It will take you to a screen that will have you drag their icon into the application folder. Then you are done! Enjoy!
iWork 09 is installed into it's own iWork 09 folder in the Applications folder. It should not touch an iWork 08 installation.
