If you have all the parts out and clean. I have see it done. Freeze your wrist pins. heat your piston rod. Assemble quickly. This is the only way I know how with out a press.
Not exactly. However they have a dueclaw. Also, if you look on the back of the leg, there is a pad on the wrist known as the carple pad.

Depending on if it is a MY95 or MY96 will determine if it is OBD2 or not. If it is MY05 it has a 6 pin connector near the PCM that pins out as follows:1= ground2=N/C3=data Transmit4=Data Recieve5=ignition6=not used
On most vehicles the bumper is attached with about 8 bolts - 4 on either end. You may need to remove a couple of exterior trim pieces as well to give yourself some room and maneuverability. When you decide to remove the bumper, GET SOME HELP - they tend to be quite heavy.
Remove head Remove oil pan Remove wrist pins and push piston up out of the head
Rings always need replacing during an overhaul. Why go to all the trouble without replacing the wrist pins? I would replace all parts that wear. Otherwise you are not doing a complete overhaul.

Hello, No it is not. The turbo's have stronger pistons and connecting rods, plus a different compression ratio. Connecting rods are the same. Only documented differences are (NA Engine): 1) higher compression pistons 2) thinner wrist pins 3) absences of oil squirters 4) slightly different porting on heads
