How do you interpret the spirituality from the life of Shirdi Baba?

Spirituality is nothing but knowing the fact that the same Spirit (Called as God) pervades everything and everywhere. In other words its Omnipresent.
Shirdi Sai Baba is an excellent example for this. He never distinguished between anyone, He gave the same amount of Love and Blessings to one and all irrespective if that person believes in Him or Not, if he is in Shirdi or Outside Shirdi, be it a Human or an Animal. He saw God in animals too, for which reason he used to share his food with Dogs, Birds etc.
And the basic teaching of Baba was to have Faith & Patience.
That is what Spirituality is all about - Having Faith in the God (Spirit) who lives inside us as our inner self and to have the Patience for things to happen. For the same reason we do Meditation - which is nothing but finding and then getting in tuned with one's inner-self and thereby developing patience.
People often take Religion & Spirituality to be the one and same but Religion is something which teaches us many Do's & Don'ts, what to do, when to do, how to do etc. It is filled with many superstitions too. Its major focus is that God lives in temples etc and not more on the fact that God is inside us.
Whereas Spirituality is the opposite. It teaches us that your Living God lives inside you, so worship him there more than seeking him outside.
And that is what Sai Baba and his teachings always focused on, by telling people to have faith, he instilled the fact to believe in themselves, in other words in the god within them.
