For a good ollie your feet shouldn't leave the board. Its kind of a 3 step process. stomp your tail and hop up with your board sliding your lead foot up and towards the nose of the board until over your front trucks. Once you can achieve these first two steps then all you really have to do is stand and brace for landing. It is best to practice this in a stationary position before trying it while moving and make sure to perfect this technique. It is the basis for almost anything in skateboarding. PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE lol :) Perhaps you may be standing too far back on the board to begin with? try centering your feet keeping them sideways without twisting your upper body.
