Yes there is. If you have the floor mounted shifter there is a bulb in the console that is in need of replacement. Remove the panel to get at it.
The light that comes on when 4 wheel drive is engaged is not the service light. It is just an indicator light that comes on to let you know the 4 wheel drive is engaged. It will go off when the 4 wheel drive is disengaged.
If it does infact have a light it should light up somewhere where the speedometer is. Does it feel like it engages when you switch to 4X4? The light could either have burnt out you you need to service it

The only known way to put your KIA Sportage car into four wheel drive is shifting into 4 high or 4 low. The corresponding 4 wheel indicator will light up and the wheels will then be engaged, according to what you shifted to.

Sometimes it may seem that you have engaged 4WD but actually the lever has not reached its correct position; the light also may come on momentarily and come off a second later for the same reason. On my 2004 TJ, I push the lever slightly to the right and pull it up until the light comes on, then I push it back to the left and pull a little more. Once it won't go any further I can be sure I'm in 4WD.

The "part-time" indicator light illuminates when the vehicle's transmission is positioned into the 4 wheel drive status. Once the vehicle is returned to 2 wheel drive the front hub locks disengage and the indicator light goes out.
The light is on because there is a problem with the system. Until the problem is fixed the light will remain on. Once the problem is fixed the light will reset itself after a short drive.
