I believe that 1996 and newer are OBDII, any auto partsrepair shop or dealer can tell you, I have a 97 and it's OBDII, Mike All cars and light trucks built and sold in the United States after January 1, 1996 were required to be OBD II equipped. In general, this means all 1996 model year cars and light trucks are compliant, even if built in late 1995. Two factors will show if your vehicle is definitely OBD II equipped: 1) There will be an OBD II connector that has 16 pins. The connector must be located within three feet of the driver and must not require any tools to be revealed. Look under the dash and behind ashtrays. 2) There will be a note on a sticker or nameplate under the hood: "OBD II compliant".
obd1 is basically a computer system in your car there is obd1 and obd2. obd1 is 1996 and earlier while obd2 is 1997 to now
OBD1, OBD2 didn't start until i believe 1996
all cars manufactured in the us after 1996 use obd2
OBD1
OBD1
OBD2 was first used in 1996 so I think your 91 Areostar would be OBD1 nope -- before 1992 - it was called obd0 or non obd :)
Its OBD1
no, its obd2
1996 and newer are OBD-2 around 06 started OBD-2 CAN
The 95 200SX S14 is OBD1 EDIT the 95 200sx 1.6Liter engine manual trans is odbII says right on the underside of the hood.

Some early 1996 Nissan Maxima's were OBD1 and later models were OBD2. The OBD2 connector is a 16 pin connector and is almost always located on the driver's side under the dash.
Under the dash on the driver side. It is a six wire probably blue connector. It is OBD1, OBD2 wasn't until 1996Under the dash on the driver side. It is a six wire probably blue connector. It is OBD1, OBD2 wasn't until 1996
