With my chickens we arnt always sure - but if the hen and cockeral have done their buisness ok and the hen is broody we always assume all the eggs she has layed recently could be - but it takes awhile for the embreo in the egg to develop so i would assume its ok to eat them if their freshly layed.

It is almost impossible to tell a fertile from an unfertile pheasant egg just by looking at it. If you hold it up in front of a bright light, in a process called candling, a fertile egg will show a dark spot inside and a network of red blood vessels within the egg.
You ovulate about two weeks after your period.
No tyhe ocean florr is NOT fertile!!!! U should know tht>
When a fertile sperm reaches near a mature unfertilized egg, the capability of sperm to pears through the egg cell wall and discharge its nucleus makes it possible to fertilize the egg. This union of male and female gametes to form zygote is called fertilization.
One view:She will set on them all at first, but if she doesn't feel heat coming from the egg which the growing embryo gives off, she will either throw it out of the nest or eat it. If you keep disturbing her to check, you will run the risk of upsetting her and she will leave the whole nest. Another view:She doesn't know. She will sit on infertile eggs as readily as on fertile ones. In fact, if she is in the mood, she'll sit on golf balls. Let her set on them for a week and then use a light to check to see if any thing is there.

You could take to a lab or a vet they have these special machines that can tell if its fertile or not

I guess you would candle it just like any other egg. You put the egg on a focused beam of light in a dark room and if the light won't go through and the egg doesn't light up, it's fertile.
I have had good luck holding the egg up to bright flashlight - if it is not fertile, the light will make the egg look transluscent. If it is fertile, the light will be blocked. Once you see it for yourself, you'll see that it's easy to do.
Your female dragon pops out a fertile egg.
The one way you can tell if a chicken eggs is fertile is by holding a strong flash light behind it and if you see the embero it is fertile
Yes there is but it's difficult to explain how.
All chicken can lay egg but not a fertile egg.
After day 5 of incubation you can candle the egg to see shadowy changes within the egg. There are no outward indicators of fertility with chicken eggs. Candling eggs means to shine a bright light into the end of the egg and observe the development of the embryo within. A non fertile egg will show no shadows within the shell.
to feed the baby if the egg became fertile
you don't need a male to have a fertile egg... the female body needs to be healthy and fertile to make a child which that part does take a male
