On a 2000 I switched the backup light (which worked) into the brake light hole. It did not work. But brake light bulb in backup light hole worked. So that means it is NOT the bulb. Has to be sensor.
I had problems with the taillights on a '99. Problem was the connector to the light assembly. I replaced the wiring harness connector using a junkyard replacement.

If the brake lights do not work on Chevy Venture van 2000, try to disconnect the brake switch. Then short the two contacts of the connector to check if the brake lights are now working.

Alternator is going out? battery is going bad?
The ABS sensor on ALL year Chevy Venture vans is located in the hub on the Left and right front tires. If the sensor is failing you unfortunately have to replace the entire hub. The barrings and the sensor are all sealed inside the hub. The ABS electrical connector is just behind the hub under the CV axle.
scan for codes maybe tps throttle position sensor
There may be an issue with the relay switch going to the radio lights. There may also be an issue with the fuse.
I've got a better question, why is this question in the Chevy venture forum ?
