Flat out leave the guy. Tell him no and that you know he won't change. If you stay strong, he will know you mean it.
Keep in mind, even if he does know you mean it, just leave and don't stay. Controlling relationships can quickly become abusive, and then it might be too late. The sooner you leave, the better.

There are a whole range of things that people tell the women or men in their lives that they either don't like or don't appreciate. You have to decide for yourself based upon the answers I've given you as to whether you are being controlled or not. If you are, and can't stand it, move on in life, he's not going to change.

∙ 14y agowell if your boyfriend tells you what you should and should not do with your own stuff, like: tells you to delete some guys number off your own phone, or tells you who to hang out with and wont let you hang out with anybody, or tells you to stop talking to your guy friends and gets mad about it if you don't. That is how you can tell if your boyfriend is controling or not.

∙ 14y agoSince your boyfriend is supposed to be one of the people who know you best, maybe he has a point: maybe you really do have control issues. If you do, decide for yourself whether you want to change or whether you're ok with having them. If you want to change, ask your boyfriend for help with it.
If you find you don't have such issues, tell your boyfriend you really don't think you do. If he insists, ask him to tell you whenever you're doing something that shows your control issues. Then watch what you're doing when he tells you and see if maybe he's right, then see above.
In the end, you should be fine as long as you take the matter seriously and try to find a solution working together with your boyfriend.

∙ 12y agoDepending on how he is too controlling you can do different things. For example if he is too controlling as in he doesn't let you hang out with your friends you can yell at him.
