If you estimate she is about nine weeks from being in heat, you see movement in her heavy stomach, the time is close. Set up a quiet, dark place with towels and show it to her when it is ready and chances are she will use it.
My cat gave birth a few years ago and this is what I remembered...
She wouldn't stop meowing and then there was this yellow-ish goo coming out of her vagina so I suppose that was probably the sac which had the kittens in it.
Hope this helps...
If you don't hear the inseminating ruckus, then the tale tell signs include sagging around the nipple area, and sudden weight gain, much like human females. Closer to term, the cat may spend days testing out hiding spots, as in a day in each, just before her litter dumps themselves. It's a helluva sight, but bring mosquito repellent if you're south of the Mason Dixie. They'll carry you away with the smell of all that blood in the air.
you no your cat is going to be having kittens when ..... 1. she is getting bigger 2. her nipples are pinker and bigger 3. she will be less active she will want to she more 4. she may not let you hold her because she wants to protect her kittens 5. she will be looking around the house for a nice dark quite and cozzy place to have the kittens
Her nipples will get very big. This was how I knew my cat was having kittens. You can also go to a vet to make sure she is going to have kittens.
Her belly will probably look smaller than before and you would hear mewling. The kittens should be close to their mother nursing and the mother should be licking them. Also if you see blood or fluids in your house that is probably where she had given birth to the kittens.
Just prior to the mother cat giving birth she will be looking for a place to give birth. It is best to watch for this behavior. My mother cat did this just before she gave birth.
oooh dont worry ull know
Your vet can do an ultrasound....
It is difficult to tell the sex of young kittens.
my cats stomache is big how can i tell if it is worms or kittens i have no clue what to due
Cats nurse kittens until the kittens are about four or five weeks old. At this age, kittens begin to wean and are able to eat soft kitten food. The mother cat's teets will dry and retract slightly. The only true way to tell if a cat is still nursing kittens is through observation.
You very well can tell a cat is a mammal, as the cat feeds milk to the kittens. Plus it has fur, warm blood, and certainly doesn't lay eggs.
My client witnesses a hermaphrodite cat have kittens, it looks mostly male from the outside but delivered kittens.
'with two kittens' describe the cat. So, you should write 'is sleeping'. But if you mean that all three of them are sleeping, write 'A cat and his two kittens are sleeping'.
kittens is little cat(s)
If the cat looks healthy, and if you see her cleaning and feeding her kittens, that is a good sign.
It is really hard to tell . It has to do with the anscestors of the cats whether they are purebreds, and their genes.
Your cat can not have kittens. There is no way to make that happen.
No, cats and dogs are different species and cannot successfully interbreed.
