She will become less active, her teats will drop and become longer, and darker. She will seem lazy, sleeping a lot, barely playing with other dogs, etc. When my pregnant girl lays down, she always seems to roll onto her side rather than lay on her belly. Hope this answer helps.

Before 3weeks, it is nearly impossible, unless the vet does some tests.

After 4weeks, with the most gentle care, you can feel the puppies, and your dog will begin to show signs of pregnancy. Of course, she may have a false pregnancy, so ask your vet if he or she can make sure it is actually a real pregnancy.

Be careful breeding your dog, and do not allow unnecessary breeding to occur.

Dogs cycle, for most anyhow, every 6 months after their first cycle. The first cycle can come from anytime the dog is 5 to 6 months to a year or there around. I got a female that just now came in for the first time and she is 9mths. I never breed on first heat sometimes I'll even skip the second, according on how old she is.

Dogs do not have "periods". The females come into heat or season every 6 months after they reach maturity. This is called the heat cycle or coming into season. It is at this time that they can get pregnant. It normally last about 3 weeks and you normally see some bleeding during this time. You should spay your dog as she will live a healthier and longer life if you do. You will be cutting down her odds of getting different types of cancers such as mammary cancer, infections of the uterus, perianal tumors, etc. You don't want to spay her while she is in heat so spay either before or afterwards. Make arrangements with your Veterinarian.

If you know when she was bred, the puppies will come roughly 63 days after the mating, give or take five.

If you didn't know when she was bred, signs that she is pregnant are swollen vulva, enlarged nipples with possible lactation, rounder tummy, and lack of apatite Many dogs start to become overly clingy, some may become aggressive, while other's will have no behavior changes.

You should wait until she is at least one year of age. Then when she is in heat, swelling and possibly blood spotting are signs.

Mine used to lick blood off her private parts every three months or so.

You may also notice blood spots on its bedding, the floor, or other places where the dog has been.

You can tell if your pit bull is pregnant at around four weeks after she has been bred because at that time she should be putting on some weight.
