What do you do when someone knows your secret and you feel like you can't trust them?

The only RELIABLE way to know if you can trust someone with your secrets is to observe that person's social behaviour. If that individual keeps other people's secrets a SECRET, that's a good sign. If not, forget about trusting them.

• As a rule, people will trust emergency room doctors, firefighters and other life saving professionals when they need to, with no doubts whatsoever.
• In wars, soldiers working together (such as inside Tanks) trust each other with their lives to cooperate properly even if they don't get along personally.
• In sports, Olympic team members determined to win gold will put aside their differences and work as "one" because they have a common goal, and little room for error.

well, for me....you can just feel it. if you get this sense that when you look into his/her eyes you trust yourself to know what your heart says. I no this sounds weird but just think about it.....maybe even try it..... if you can think of a single thing you would feel uncomforatable telling that person... you dont trust them.

You know that you trust someone when they can go out alone without you ringing up their phone constantly. You know you trust someone when you don't have to go snooping through their things. You know you trust someone when you aren't breathing down their neck constantly questioning their every move.

Where to compromise? I usually give people the benefit of the doubt at first and trust them with unimportant matters. If they maintain a high level of reliability, I gradually increase my trust of them.

There's is no real answer. You really do not know, because somewhere down the road they will betray you. It's hard to trust people. You are not in there presence. You have to be a fly on the wall to know what people do everyday. If you tell someone about something in your life and you say to to them, do not tell anyone but when they leave your presence, you do not know who or whom they are going to see and tell it all. You cannot be with someone twenty- four seven. How do you know when to trust someone?, it is a hard question to ask.

How do you know when to trust someone? You can tell in their actions that they already told someone. Or, if they truly did not, life would be the same you move on. Their change in attitudes toward you remains the same. If their attitude changes then you know.

Trusting someone that is a strong pill to handle.

Are there ways you can tell? Trust is a strong word. Trusting someone is a job by itself. Trust starts off small, and then moves on to bigger trusting.

But sometimes, the trust you shared sometimes head off in different directions causing chaos in it's path.

Trusting someone and people is a hard price to pay when there's no trust. My philosophy is like this, be careful what you say, remember, loose lips, sink ships.

• Everyone holds back some secrets for one reason or another. If you know you can trust your best friend and tell them what you are about to say is confidential then tell them the lesser of any secrets you may have to test your friend's ability to keep the secret. If your friend cannot keep the secret and tells other it will be less damaging and embarrassing to you. If they can keep that secret after a couple of months then you should feel free to tell your secrets to your best friend.
