Mini muffin pans need mini muffin cups; you can't use the large ones. you have to buy these separately
You can get mini muffin cups at Michael's (in the Wilton aisle) or you can risk it- spray the pan with nonstick cooking spray, pour the batter in, bake away! - and then prepare yourself for some pan-cleaning.
Good luck!
No way!
Just do everything the recipe says and make as many mini cupcakes with it as you can! :)
You should decrease cooking time though. Depending on how small your mini cupcakes are, it could take just a quarter of the time it takes you to bake a batch of regular size. You'll have to check every few minutes to make sure they don't get overcooked.
it usually takes 5-7 minutes less, so if you had a box cake and it only had directions for a full size cupcake, this is what you would subtract.
Anne Serra goes by Mini Muffin.
Depends on the size of the pan and the density of the recipe. A mini-muffin version like the Brazilian Quinin takes about 15-20 minutes. However a typical pan of flan will take about an hour.
Little Miss Muffin
A mini laptop is smaller than a regular laptop hence the word mini!!!!!
Muffin pans are used in making all kinds of muffins and also used to make several items like cupcakes, brownies, mini pizza etc.
MINI
Regular mini 5, s-type mini 6
There won't be a difference in cooking temperature, just time. Bake at the temp reccommended in the recipe. If your mini pans are about cupcake size, they'll take 15 - 20 minutes or so, at 350 F.
They are mini but I think they make regular as well.
Although it may not be the most helpful, it is true....it depends on the recipe. Generally, if a bread recipe called for yeast, it can be anywhere from 20-30 minutes. If it did not, such as a cranberry loaf or something, it is generally 30-40 minutes. You can find complete recipes with cooking times online in many places.
Kellogg's original recipe calls for 4 cups of mini-marshmallows. See the link below for their recipe.
