How do you lower your gun in halo reach?

Shot all the ammo on any weapon and throw away all granedes and then just press the button you throw granedes with.On your screen nothing happens but the other players see that you are lowing your weapon

The previous answer was yet again wrong. the code displayed was the code from halo 3. in halo reach you hold down on the d-pad + hold the right stick + hold the X button + hold the b button. hold each one until the sequence is over.if it does not work the d-pad thinks your holding the right button on the d-pad.

Well firstly you have to be offline to lower your weapon. You have to press the reload, jump and crouch buttons at the same time and press down on the d-pad for a few seconds to lower your weapon.
