Severus Snape never has the Elder wand, nor was he ever its master.
The wand of Severus Snape is of unknown length, wood and core materials.
JK Rowling never disclosed what kind of wand Snape had. In the films, his wand his black and shiny, with a decorated handle.
Nagini kills Snape (on Voldemorts orders)
Voldemort kills Snape to get the elder wand
Snape was killed by Nagini on Voldemort's orders in order to acquire the Elder Wand from Snape.
Lord Voldemort didn't kill Snape he ordered his snake to. He did this because he believed that Snape was the master of the Elder Wand since Snape had killed Albus Dumbledore. By overcoming Snape, Voldemort believed that the alligence of the wand would come to him. However, Draco Malfoy was the owner of the Elder Wand as he had disarmed Dumbledore before his death. Harry then became the owner because he stole Draco's wand from him.
Voldemort believes that Snape is the owner of the Elder wand - a wand that cannot lose in a duel - because he wants the wand. The wand can only change masters if you dissarm or kill the previous owner.Voldemort, of course, doesn't care about betraying Snape - who, as far as Voldemort knows, is still loyal to Voldemort.
Voldemort killed Snape because he (Voldy) believed that Snape was the true master of the Elder Wand, because he defeated Dumbledore. The way how it works with the wands is that one must either kill, disarm or abduct a wand by force in order for the wands "powers" to work. But Snape didn't defeat Dumbledore. Dumbledore, planned his death with Snape. Draco Malfoy was the true master of the Elder Wand until Harry took Draco's wand.
Voldemort thought that Snape was the master of the elder wand since he killed Dumbledore, and he needed to be the master of it to kill Harry with it, so he killed Snape so the wand could be his.(Whoever kills the current master becomes the master.) But Draco was the actual master of it since he disarmed Dumbledore on the astronomy tower, so Voldemort killed Snape for nothing in the end and the wand never became his.
He wants to kill him so he could be the "master of the elder wand" (except for the fact that Snape was not ever the master of the elder wand....)
It was never released what type of wand Snape used.
Voldemort, obsessed with becoming the master of the Elder Wand, ordered Nagini, his serpent, to kill Snape who he (Voldemort) thought was the master of the wand. Because the Elder Wand gives his allegiance to the one who killed its master, Voldemort thought he had to kill Snape to become the true master.
Because voldemort thinks that snape is the master of the elder wand but he isn't.
I think he kills professor snape because he Volermort wanted Draco Malfoy to kill Dumbledore in the 6th film, but snape did instead so he Voldermort might of got a bit angry.I don't know if that's right or not,NO THAT IS NOT RIGHT (I WILL CORRECT YOUR ANSWER : BY (AHMED NASSAR)I'm really sure that voldemort thought that snape disarmed dumbledorebut Draco did itso voldemort thought that snape is the new owner of the elder wand.so voldemort disarm and kill snapeOK, actually, THIS is why Voldemort Killed Snape (!!!!!):In the Half Blood Prince, Malfoy disarmed (expelliarmus) Dumbledore, and Snape killed him. Whoever disarmes/kills the owner of the Elder Wand is the new owner of the Elder Wand. Dumbledore was the owner of the Elder wand until he was killed. Since Voldemort wanted the Elder Wand for himself, he figured that since Snape killed Dumbledore, Snape was the owner of the Elder Wand, Voldemort thought that if he killed Snape, Voldemort would be the owner of the Elder Wand. HE IS AN IDIOT!!!!!! THAT is the truth. ( believe me, I am the most obsessesd Harry Potter fan you will ever know. It is my JOB to know these things!!!)
Voldemort took the Elder Wand from Dumbledore's grave, thinking it would make him all-powerful. However, it didn't work because Voldemort wasn't the wand's true master. Since Dumbledore was killed by Snape, Voldemort assumed Snape had become the wand's master. This was wrong. Draco was the one who had actually disarmed Dumbledore, so he (not Snape) was the master of the Elder Wand. When Harry stole Draco's wand from him at Malfoy Manor, Harry became the master of the Elder Wand. After killing Snape, Voldemort believed he was now the master of the Elder Wand and tried to use it on Harry. Since he was trying to use the Elder Wand on its true master, it backfired and killed Voldemort.
Not really because dumbledore was nice I grey and snape wasn't so if he was snape would be nice to harry Snape was completely loyal to Dumbledore. The reason Snape killed Dumbledore was because Dumbledore asked him to. Dumbledore planned to have Snape kill him to prevent Voldemort from getting the Elder Wand, which turned out to be pointless since Voldemort kills Snape in the seventh book and gains full control of the Elder Wand.
Yes, he is killed by Voldemort, who wants the Elder Wand.
Chapter 32 - The Elder Wand.
yes he does, by voldermort, for the elder wand
He gets killed by Voldemort because Voldemort thinks that Snape is the rightful owner of the Elder Wand as he killed Dumbledore (the previous owner). To become the owner of the Elder Wand you have to overpower the previous owner of the wand.
Draco became rightful owner of the Elder Wand because before Dumbledore's death he disarmed him. The wand then chose a new master after Dumbledore's Death. There was a confusion as since Snape killed Dumbledore, Voldemort thought Snape would be the new owner. Voldemort killed Snape because the Elder Wand was not working as well as expected so Voldemort estimated that if he killed Snape the wand would work better as "The Want Chooses The Wizard". In the end Harry disarms Draco therefore making Harry the new rightful owner of the Elder Wand.
No. Snape dies from Nagini's bite to his neck. Volodemort sends the snake on Snape in attempt to become master of the Elder Wand.
In the movie Voldemort's snake, Nagini, Kills Snape because Voldemort wanted Dumbledor's wand, and the wand goes to the wizard who killed it's last owner, since Voldemort killed Snape, the wand would then become his...! Hope i helped! And he dies in the last book, Deathly Hallows. Movie Wise, Deathly Hallows PT. 2!
the elder wand is a wand made to lose no battle by killing his/hers opponent. The wand had belonged to albus dumbldore but voldemort has now possessed by killing his old owner severous snape
