its just rolled up paper cut at different lengths placed next to each other

the mouthpiece is a like a thin wide box but paper is not strong so you take thinner (half or the flute tubes) tubes (very short about a centimeter) fill the box staking then next to each other to make it strong and directing the wind

you could make lots of other flutes but you always have to direct air out out the flute as soon as possible the rest of the flute is for tone not for the air to flow trough you can even close the end of the tube to lower the tone
