Moringa leaf powder is a dark green powder with a strong nutty aroma. This powder is made by drying moringa leaves at a low temperature until the plant tissue has turned into a fine powder. After that, the powder is tested for contaminants before being manufactured into capsules and packed in bags.

Even if fresh moringa leaves are readily available in the market, it is best to utilize the powder as needed. Take some fresh leaves, separate them from the stems and stalks, wash them well in clean water, and then spread them out on a dish towel to absorb any excess moisture. Now sundry in a covered area.

When the leaves become crisp then powder the leaves in your mixer and store it in an airtight container. It stays fresh for 6 months at room temperature.
